Media personality Daddy Freeze has responded to critics over his grand appearance at his daughter’s sign-out.
Freeze attended his daughter Amarachi’s sign-out at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
He made the appearance alongside his wife, Tastebudzng, and businessman Habby Forex. Sharing the moment online, Freeze wrote,
“So the other day @tastebudzng and I had our daughter Amarachi’s sign-out and @habbyforex. And I decided to pay a visit to Unilag in a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.”
The flashy entrance, however, did not impress everyone. Some followers accused him of putting unnecessary pressure on other students.
One Instagram user, bigwzrd00, commented,
“So razz.”
Freeze fired back, saying,
“E pain you say your papa no fit run am.”
Another follower questioned the purpose of his expensive entrance.
“Why are you placing pressure on the students? Of what importance is this?” the critic asked.
In response, Freeze said his action was meant to motivate the students, not pressure them. He also mocked the critic for failing to understand the difference.
In a recent video, the media personality shared another video involving his son and his school fees. He complained about paying N7 million in school fees and questioned what his son was learning.
Freeze also mentioned popular TikToker Peller, who did not attend university but has made his parents proud. He jokingly asked if his son wanted to follow Peller’s path and questioned whether school was truly necessary.
Meanwhile, Freeze recently celebrated another milestone with his daughter. He attended her NYSC passing-out parade with his wife. Despite his controversial moments, Freeze has often spoken about his experiences as a father. He previously revealed that he had gone years without seeing his children from his first marriage.
Freeze was formerly married to Opeyemi Olarinde. Their marriage ended in 2014 after both parties made allegations of infidelity and domestic violence. He later married Benedict Elechi in a private UK ceremony
