“My advice for up-and-coming artistes, is first of all, believe in yourself. I worked on my craft so much. I loved music so much that I just wanted to get better every time. When I was young, I was learning from YouTube and the people around me.”
The singer also explained that success should never replace faith. Instead, he believes success should bring people even closer to God. He warned that the entertainment industry is filled with temptations capable of shifting people’s focus. Davido said,
“Secondly, love what you do and put God first and close, especially when you make it because there are so many distractions that can make you forget he is the reason you are here.”
