Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has announced a major change in his spending habits following his recent trip to China. The celebrity businessman says the experience has changed how he views wealth and investment. According to him, the trip opened his eyes to the importance of production and business development. He also admitted that the experience left him humbled.
In a video shared online, Cubana Chief Priest explained that his visit to China changed his perspective on luxury. The socialite recently received his new Rolls-Royce. However, he says he no longer plans to spend money on expensive cars and watches. Instead, he wants to focus on investments that can create jobs and support economic growth.
Cubana Chief Priest plans to invest in production rather than luxury items. He revealed that the money he would have spent on a Ferrari could fund a production company in Owerri, Imo State. The proposed business could also provide employment opportunities for at least 1,000 people. His statement highlights a shift from personal luxury to building businesses that can benefit others.
Sharing his new mindset, the socialite said,
“My trip to China has changed my view about everything. I came here, and I’m humbled. After receiving my new Rolls-Royce, I won’t buy any more cars or watches. It’s going to be production on production. The money I would use to buy my Ferrari, I will use to set up a production company in Owerri and employ not less than 1000 people.”
His announcement has drawn attention to the role of local production in creating jobs and growing businesses. If he follows through on the plan, his proposed investment could create new opportunities in Owerri.
For now, many will be watching to see how the socialite turns his new resolution into action.
