He described Alex as “an angel” and remembered their special friendship. Alex reportedly died on May 11 after battling cancer. He was 40 years old.
IK had earlier opened up about Alex’s death in an emotional video. He said nothing prepared him for such a painful loss. The actor also revealed that Alex’s death made him ask difficult questions about life. They spoke about everything and had many plans together. Despite the pain, IK promised that Alex would always remain part of them.
The two actors shared a strong bond and were like brothers in Nollywood. After Alex’s engagement ended, IK took him on a vacation to Port-Novo, Benin Republic. They also supported each other during important moments. When IK received a doctorate, Alex congratulated him warmly. IK also defended Alex against trolls online.
