Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano state has urged Nigerians to register for their voter cards and join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of upcoming elections.
In a post on X on Monday, the former Kano governor thanked supporters for showing interest in the party and called on more citizens to participate in the political process.
“I appeal to those who are yet to register with our party, ADC, and INEC to do so as soon as possible,” he said.
Kwankwaso urged both Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to take advantage of the opportunity to register, noting that it would enable them to vote and be voted for.
He said increased participation is important for the elections expected later this year and early next year.
The former governor expressed appreciation for the support he has received so far and encouraged Nigerians to remain engaged in shaping the country’s political future.
