Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie is celebrating 15 years of marriage with her husband, Prince Odianosen Okojie. The actress marked the milestone with a heartfelt message on Instagram. She also thanked God for sustaining their relationship through the years.
“I keep writing and deleting, but I am so thankful, Lord,” Mercy wrote.
She then toasted to 15 years filled with love, laughter, partnership and trust. The actress also mentioned tolerance and tenacity among the values that have shaped their marriage.
“Cheers to 15 years of love, laughter, tenacity, partnership, tolerance and trust,” she added.
“The order varies for any given year….”
Mercy also shared a sweet message for her husband.
“Prince Odi Okojie, love you today and always…” she wrote.
The couple got married in August 2011. Since then, they have built a family with four children. Their children include three girls and one boy.
Meanwhile, Mercy has often spoken about how much her children mean to her. In February 2023, she explained why she is very protective of them.
“Because as a child, I suffered so much and I remember crying with nobody to clean my eyes,” she said.
She also recalled experiencing hunger and abuse while growing up. According to her, those painful experiences shaped how she protects her children today.
“My past is the reason why I am so protective of my kids,” she added.
As Mercy and Prince Odi celebrate this special milestone, fans have continued to admire their family journey.
