Mr Real Defends Poco Lee Over Alleged UK Rape Case

Nigerian singer Mr Real has defended popular dancer Poco Lee over an alleged rape case in the United Kingdom. The report has sparked reactions across social media. However, there is no official confirmation of Poco Lee’s arrest or charges. Neither UK police nor his management has confirmed the claims.

Reacting on Instagram, Mr Real said he believes Poco Lee is innocent. He also shared a personal experience from a previous UK trip. According to him, a show organiser brought some women to his accommodation. Later, Mr Real went to his room with one of them. He said he only touched her cheek while complimenting her beauty.

Things reportedly changed suddenly. Mr Real said the woman questioned why he touched her.

“Why are you touching me? Why are you molesting me?” she allegedly asked.

He claimed she later smashed a small fan in his room. The organiser then removed her from the room. Soon after, Mr Real said he was told she wanted to report him for attempted rape.

According to the singer, the woman demanded £10,000 to settle the matter. He said he eventually gave up the £5,000 he earned from the show. Mr Real also alleged that some promoters work with women to make false claims against artistes. He warned upcoming entertainers to stay cautious abroad.

“Protect yourself. Know who you invite into your space,” he advised.

He also urged artistes to avoid risky situations that could affect their careers, freedom and reputation.
