Nigerian Rapper, Lord of Ajasa Celebrates As He Officially Becomes A U.S. Citizen

Veteran Nigerian rapper Lord of Ajasa has become a United States citizen. The Yoruba rap pioneer shared the news online on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. He posted photos and videos from his citizenship ceremony. One clip showed him holding his US citizenship certificate and the American flag. He also posed with his wife during the celebration.

The milestone has sparked congratulatory messages from fans and fellow entertainers. Music producer ID Cabasa was among those who celebrated the rapper. He wrote,
