Odogwu Asaba’s wife has spoken about the allegations against her husband. She insists that he did not rape or kill the late Favour.
According to her, she stayed quiet while following the case closely. She also claimed that bloggers were monitoring her and her children. She said the alleged actions were meant to scare her into silence.
Despite the controversy, she remains firmly behind her husband.
“No matter what happened, Odogwu Asaba is my husband and I stand with him 100%,” she said.
She also stated,
“Odogwu Asaba did not kill anybody. Odogwu Asaba did not rape Favour. Odogwu Asaba only had an affair with the girl.”
The businessman’s wife said she has known him for eight years. She believes this gives her enough knowledge of his character. She also urged people to avoid judging the case through social media.
“Social media is not a courtroom,” she said.
According to her, the matter should be handled through proper investigation and due process.
Furthermore, she questioned why her husband would force himself on a woman. She claimed that women often willingly seek his attention because of his popularity.
“Some women can actually give themselves to him free of charge,” she added.
The wife also said Odogwu Asaba would share his side of the story when he returns.
“Odogwu Asaba is my husband, my husband for eight years, with four children, and I am going to stand by him. I am going to stand by him and he will come back.”
