TikTok star Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has expressed frustration with his parents.
The newlywed spoke during a recent livestream about his family and wedding. Peller revealed that his separated parents brought their partners to his wedding.
According to him, he had warned them against inviting too many people.
“A polygamous family is a very bad thing,” Peller said.
“My father came with his girlfriend, while my mother came with her boyfriend.”
He also complained about his family’s growing presence on social media.
“All my family have turned to social media. I dey vex for all of them. I’m tired!”
Peller also addressed rumours about his father’s sexuality. The rumours started after a viral photo showed his father lying on a bed with another man. Peller explained that his father was simply making videos.
“I blame my daddy for putting himself on social media,” he said.
“My dad was on the bed making videos, and you people started calling him gay.”
Meanwhile, Peller surprised his parents with bundles of dollars during his white wedding. The TikTok star recently married his longtime girlfriend, Jarvis. He proposed to her in June during a romantic beach setup in Ghana. The couple later completed their introduction and bride-price ceremony in Benin City. They also had their court wedding on July 29.
Their white wedding followed on August 8, with several celebrities attending. Pregnancy rumours have also followed Jarvis since their wedding plans began. Peller previously asked Nigerians not to pressure his wife with pregnancy claims. However, Cubana Chief Priest later fuelled the rumours during a livestream with Peller.
Despite the attention, Peller continues to focus on his new marriage and career.
