Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha have turned up the heat before their celebrity boxing rematch. Both stars clashed during a pre-fight event in Lagos on Friday.
Their intense face-off almost got out of control before security officers stepped in. Since then, videos of the confrontation have spread across social media. Fans have also shared their predictions ahead of the much-awaited fight.
During the event, both entertainers stood face-to-face and exchanged harsh words. They even threw mock punches while the moderator struggled to keep things calm. However, Portable looked relaxed and full of confidence. He insisted he would defeat Okocha again.
“I’m the man… I go prepare, I don prepare, I go win again, I go fight again. I go beat Charles Okocha,” the singer declared.
His bold statement quickly sparked reactions online.
Meanwhile, Charles Okocha refused to back down. Instead, he challenged Portable to stop talking and prove himself inside the ring.
“So what are you talking about? Can you save that for the ring? Can you save that on the 31st? Don’t disrespect me! I’m not your mate. Don’t disrespect me,” Okocha fired back.
As expected, the heated exchange excited fans, with many eagerly waiting to see who will have the final laugh.
The rematch follows Portable’s unanimous decision victory in their first celebrity boxing clash. After that defeat, Okocha activated the rematch clause, setting up another battle. The fight, tagged “Unfinished Business”, is part of the Chaos in the Ring card.
It will take place on July 31, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Organisers have also confirmed that the event will be streamed live, giving fans across Nigeria a chance to watch every moment.
