Russian strikes on Ukraine kill at least 10 in massive overnight attack

Russian strikes on Ukraine hit Kyiv and Dnipro overnight, leaving at least 10 people dead and dozens injured.

At least 10 people were killed after Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack across Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian authorities said four people died in Kyiv, while six others were killed in Dnipro.

Dozens of people were injured, including children, as residential buildings and key infrastructure were damaged. Emergency crews are continuing search and rescue operations amid fears that more victims remain trapped under rubble.

The latest Russian attack on Ukraine came days after Moscow warned of further military action following a deadly strike in Russian-held territory. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier warned residents about the possibility of a large-scale assault.

Rescue teams remain on the ground as authorities assess the full scale of the damage and casualties.
