Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has opened up about his relationships with actresses and his wife’s reaction. The Yoruba movie star revealed that his wife knew about the relationships. He also said she never fought the women over them. Quadri shared these details during an appearance on the Africanalist Podcast.
According to the actor, some actresses he dated eventually became friends with his wife. However, others reportedly became jealous after learning that his wife already knew about their relationships. He explained that his wife did not see the need to fight them over the situation. Instead, she remained calm despite knowing about his involvement with other women.
Recalling the situation, Quadri said some of the actresses left because of jealousy. He explained that his wife’s awareness often surprised them.
“And there were some of them that we were dating who went home out of jealousy. Meanwhile, my wife would say she was aware already and she doesn’t fight them cause of that,” he stated.
Furthermore, the actor revealed that some actresses sometimes spent the night at his house after late-night movie productions. He said his wife knew about his relationships with the women. Despite this, she reportedly welcomed them and served them food. Quadri explained,
“Sometimes when production ends late, they would sleep in my house. And that my wife is aware I am dating them, she would still feed them and everything.”
His revelation has offered a glimpse into his personal life and the unusual arrangements he described during his years in the movie industry.
