Stan Nze reacts to Peter Obi’s interview, explains why he wants a better Nigeria, and urges Nigerians to get their PVCs before 2027.
Nollywood actor Stan Nze has sparked fresh political conversations after reacting to Peter Obi’s recent interview. The actor said the interview gave him renewed hope for Nigeria. He also encouraged Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, Stan admitted he became emotional after listening to Obi discuss the challenges he allegedly faced while trying to serve Nigeria. According to the actor, no one deserves such treatment for simply wanting to make the country better.
“I saw this video yesterday and it really broke me. It did things to me that I cannot even express. No one should be made to go through these things simply because they want to lead and see Nigeria become better,” he said.
However, Stan later explained that his support goes beyond one individual. He stressed that his biggest wish is to see Nigeria work for everyone. He said leadership should never be about tribe or region. Instead, it should focus on competence, progress, and the well-being of citizens.
“I only want to see a better Nigeria. It doesn’t have to be Peter Obi. I’m not looking for someone from my tribe, but for a candidate who has Nigerians at heart and can move the country forward, not one step forward and ten steps backward.”
The actor also said every Nigerian feels the impact of good or bad leadership. Therefore, choosing the right leader should matter to everyone. Based on what he has seen so far, Stan believes Peter Obi remains the candidate who best fits his expectations. He added,
“So far, I haven’t seen any better candidate than Peter Obi in this election. The truth is that governance doesn’t affect only one tribe or region, it affects everyone.”
His comments have since sparked reactions online as conversations around the 2027 elections continue to grow.
