Suge Knight claims Keefe D’s legal team offered $1 million to deny his presence during Tupac Shakur’s fatal shooting.
Suge Knight has made a fresh claim about the ongoing case involving Duane “Keefe D” Davis. The imprisoned music executive says Davis’ lawyers offered him up to $1 million.
He claims they wanted him to say Keefe D was not inside the car during Tupac Shakur’s shooting. Knight discussed the alleged offer with TMZ Live on Tuesday, August 25. However, he said he turned it down without hesitation. According to Knight, his loyalty to Tupac “can’t be compromised.”
Meanwhile, Knight also addressed recent comments from rapper The Game. The rapper claimed Keefe D could be a scapegoat in Tupac’s murder case. The Game also said he has known who killed Tupac for about 15 years. He suggested people in Compton and Los Angeles already know what happened. Knight strongly disagreed with those comments. He accused some people of using Tupac’s death to gain attention.
“Tupac’s life wasn’t no motherf*ing circus,” Knight said.
He also questioned why so many people keep speaking publicly about the case. Still, Knight did not say whether Keefe D is guilty or innocent. Instead, he maintained that “definitely more than one person was involved” in Tupac’s killing.
Beyond that, Knight made another serious allegation about the case’s wider circumstances. He claimed “crooked cops” and off-duty police officers were involved. However, those claims remain unproven. The alleged $1 million offer also remains Knight’s claim and has not been established as fact.
