Taiwo Hassan’s daughter, Lima, has reacted to reports that her sister, Kira, welcomed a child after their father’s death. The claim spread online on Wednesday, causing concern among the family’s friends and followers. However, Lima has now described the report as false and urged the public to ignore it.
In a statement, Lima explained that the family received several calls about the alleged birth. She said they decided to address the issue because the news was already spreading.
“Please disregard the information currently circulating that my sister has given birth. This is not true,” she stated.
Lima also appealed to the public to respect their privacy while they mourn their father.
Meanwhile, Kira recently shared details of her final conversation with Taiwo Hassan. According to her, the actor told his children that their tears made him sad. He also encouraged them to remain strong and assured them that nothing would happen to him. The veteran actor had previously celebrated Kira as she entered motherhood. Two years ago, he praised her and promised to remain her biggest supporter.
Interestingly, Taiwo Hassan became a grandfather in February 2024 after his son, Taiwo Opeyemi Ibrahim, welcomed a child. Opeyemi had married his partner in September 2023. The proud actor celebrated the milestone and thanked God for another family blessing. His family also made headlines in 2024 after reportedly rejecting a marriage proposal from actress Doyin Kukoyi. Kira then said their family house was already full and did not need another woman.
For now, Lima wants the public to focus on the family’s grief and avoid unverified claims.
