Nollywood actor Rykardo Agbor has survived a car crash in Ibadan, Oyo State. The actor shared news of the incident on Saturday through his Instagram page. He also posted a video showing his badly damaged Lexus SUV at the crash scene.
The silver Lexus suffered heavy damage to its front section. Its bonnet was badly crushed, while the grille and front-left tyre were also damaged. Parts of the engine were exposed after the impact. Agbor identified the location as being in front of the Cornerstone City billboard in Ibadan.
Speaking from the scene, the actor repeatedly thanked God for saving his life.
“Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, thank you, Lord Jesus Christ,” he said.
He later added,
“This is what just happened to me now. Oh God.”
In his Instagram post, Agbor also wrote,
“Thank God Almighty I made it out of this. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ.”
Meanwhile, Rykardo Agbor has enjoyed a long career in the Nigerian film industry. Born on February 4, 1973, in Lagos State, he is a native of Delta State. He studied Mass Communication at the University of Ibadan. Agbor started acting in 1992 after working as a model. He later gained wider recognition after starring in Visa to Hell. Over the years, he has appeared in several English and Yoruba Nollywood films.
