Celebrity designer Toyin Lawani and her husband, Segun Wealth, have sparked reactions online after a new video surfaced.
In the video, the masked photographer kneels before Toyin while serving her food. Toyin is seen getting glammed up as Segun serves her. She gladly eats the food while teasing her husband.
The unusual display has since divided opinions online.
One user, b_4bimbz, wrote,
“This is not even funny. Everything doesn’t need to come on social media.”
Similarly, mzimode_bakes22 said,
“They wan find una mouth.”
Meanwhile, iggy_emmanuel questioned the gesture.
“I don’t understand the point of giving your spouse food and then kneel for them to eat,” the user wrote.
Interestingly, the couple has faced public relationship speculation before. Segun previously shared cryptic posts about his marriage. At the time, he said he was tired of pretending everything was perfect. He also said he needed peace and wanted to focus more on himself.
However, Segun later revealed that the posts were part of a publicity stunt for his music. He then shared a loved-up video with Toyin and declared his love for her. Toyin also criticised Nigerians who enjoy spreading gossip about relationships.
The couple got married in 2021 and welcomed their daughter, Eleora, shortly afterwards. Toyin also has two older children, Tiannah and Tenola, from previous relationships. Two years ago, she addressed claims that she controls Segun. According to the designer, only people who do not know her husband would believe he can be controlled.
For now, their latest video has once again got social media users talking.
