Victoria Inyama has made fresh allegations about Alex Ekubo’s final days claiming a pastor offered to pay for his treatment but was blocked.
Victoria Inyama has reacted after the family of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo accused his stepmother of shutting them out during his illness. The actress said she understood how difficult it was for David Ekubo to speak publicly. She also claimed several efforts were made to resolve the situation before the actor died.
According to Victoria, a well-known Nigerian pastor offered to pay for Alex’s treatment. However, she alleged the offer never reached the actor. “One of the biggest and kindest pastors in Nigeria tried to help but was always told by her that Alex is fine,” she wrote. She also claimed the pastor repeatedly asked to see Alex but was denied access.
Furthermore, Victoria alleged the pastor only received news after Alex had passed away. “The pastor was not even told when Alex was in hospital; he was only called when Alex died. He wasn’t offering miracles. He was ready to foot any medical bill anywhere in the world,” she stated. She added that modern cancer has several treatment options and urged families to accept genuine help.
Meanwhile, the claims have triggered mixed reactions online. While many fans expressed sadness over the allegations, others urged the public to avoid taking sides. They insisted that everyone involved should be allowed to share their own version of events before conclusions are made.
