Wizkid and Asake made a stylish appearance at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, highlighting Nigeria’s growing impact on global fashion.
Wizkid and Asake turned heads at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris. The Nigerian stars attended the event during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Their appearance once again showed the growing global influence of Nigerian talent.
The show was hosted by Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams. It attracted several famous faces from around the world. Among them were Victor Wembanyama, Missy Elliott, Jeremy Allen White, Lil Baby, and Angélique Kidjo. As a result, Wizkid and Asake shared the stage with some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports.
Meanwhile, Pharrell created a beach-inspired setting for the runway show. A giant wave-themed backdrop transformed part of Paris. Louis Vuitton called the collection “an ode to the surfing community.” The fashion house also said that “a cascading wave forms the backdrop” of the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. In addition, Pharrell said the collection celebrates the sea and shore as places of connection and belonging.
Beyond the celebrity buzz, Paris Men’s Fashion Week remains a major fashion event. Several luxury brands are unveiling new collections this season. These include Dior Homme, Saint Laurent, Kenzo, Hermès, Sacai, and Celine.
