Additionally, NDLEA identified and apprehended 128 drug barons who led these operations. This targeted approach weakened the core of drug syndicates. As a result, Nigeria became a less attractive hub for illegal drug activities.
Key Achievements in Arrests and Seizures
NDLEA officers conducted intelligence-led operations that led to these arrests. They focused on both local dealers and international couriers. Furthermore, the agency prosecuted 14,225 offenders, securing convictions that deterred potential criminals.
