Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has pledged to deliver at least 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
He made the promise on Friday in Benin City while addressing supporters at a rally organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Tinubu’s re-election.
The governor spoke confidently as party loyalists and supporters filled the venue.
Vote Targets Stir Internal Momentum
Okpebholo said leaders within the movement have begun pushing higher targets.
He revealed that the group’s chairman promised 3.5 million votes.
Meanwhile, the women’s leader also increased the projected figure.
