All These Churches, Yet The Youth Struggle”- Lady Challenges Nigerian Pastors Over Priorities

A woman has sparked a lively online debate after questioning the priorities of Nigerian pastors. She asked why many pastors focus on opening more churches instead of starting ventures that could directly benefit their communities.

In a heartfelt statement, she criticized the constant push to expand church networks while many essential societal needs remain unmet.
“Why is it that Nigerian pastors are always called by God to open more churches? Even with the countless churches already in Nigeria, you’re still being called to build more,” she said.

She argued that religious leaders rarely feel led to create industries or programs that empower young people or provide essential services.
“Why doesn’t the Holy Spirit guide you to build infrastructure or start initiatives that help the youth? It seems the focus is only on taking from those who have little to build more churches and altars,” she added.

The woman also highlighted the imbalance between the number of churches and the availability of basic social amenities.
“There are far more churches in Nigeria than schools or hospitals, yet pastors keep opening more churches,” she pointed out.

She wrapped up her statement by questioning the purpose of this constant church expansion.
“What’s the goal of opening all these branches? Why isn’t the Holy Spirit calling pastors to create industries that support the youth instead of just adding more churches?”

Her comments have sparked widespread discussions about the role of religious leaders in driving societal progress and balancing spiritual guidance with community development.
