LASRERA Seals Office of Suspected Impostor in Ikorodu

The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA), sealed the office of a suspected impostor who operated under the guise of a licensed realtor in the Ikorodu area of the state. As reported by ALO360 operatives carried out the action to stop illegal activities and protect property buyers.

Authority Executes Swift Operation

Mr Olufemi Adebisi coordinated the raid as executive secretary of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Consequently his team moved in and sealed the premises without prior notice.

Moreover officials verified that the suspect held no valid registration with the agency.

Agency States Reasons for Action

The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority explained the enforcement. “Its operatives sealed the office of a suspected impostor who operates under the guise of being a licensed realtor in the Ikorodu area of the state” officials stated.

In addition the authority confirmed the start of its broader campaign.

Clampdown Hits Unlicensed Agents

The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority said it had begun a clampdown on unlicensed real estate agents in the state. Therefore inspection teams will target other locations across Lagos in the coming days.

As a result the move aims to eliminate fraud and ensure only registered professionals handle property transactions.

Mr Olufemi Adebisi issued a direct warning. “We advise residents to verify the license of any real estate agent with the authority before transacting” he added.
