Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum stressed that violence can never be justified, extending her wishes for the well-being of Trump and the First Lady.

According to officials, the shooting triggered panic inside the venue as hundreds of attendees were evacuated and security forces quickly responded.
One police officer was injured during the incident, though authorities confirmed that President Trump, the First Lady, and other officials were unharmed.
