The company also denied reports suggesting that Dangote financed the Dangote Petroleum Refinery through personal borrowing from friends.

The company stressed that Dangote does not fund projects through personal loans from friends or private lending arrangements.
It challenged anyone making such allegations to provide verifiable evidence.
Company Says Relationship With Elumelu Remains Strong
Dangote Group also dismissed claims of any fallout between Dangote and Elumelu.
The company stated that both businessmen still maintain a cordial and longstanding relationship.
“Equally false are suggestions of any estrangement between Aliko Dangote and Mr Tony Elumelu,” the statement added.
Concern Over AI-Generated Fake Content
The company raised concerns over what it described as a growing trend of fabricated statements and unauthorised use of Dangote’s identity in AI-generated advertisements and misleading online content.
According to the Group, such actions could damage reputations and expose the public to fraud.
The company warned individuals, organisations, and platforms involved in spreading false information to stop immediately.
