Adetokunbo Abiru, senator representing Lagos East, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Tinubu as the administration pursues economic reforms and national transformation initiatives.
In a Democracy Day message on Thursday, the lawmaker described the occasion as a significant milestone in Nigeria’s democratic journey, noting that the country has now enjoyed 27 years of uninterrupted democratic rule.
Abiru said the anniversary provides an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the nation’s democratic evolution, celebrate its achievements, and recommit themselves to the ideals of democratic governance.
