Prophet Odumeje questions President Tinubu’s performance, raising concerns over power supply, roads and insecurity as Nigerians react online.
Controversial preacher Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, better known as Odumeje, has sparked fresh reactions after criticizing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s performance. During a church service, the cleric questioned why some Nigerians continue to praise the President despite the country’s current challenges.
Speaking boldly, Odumeje said, “I don’t know why people are celebrating Tinubu. What has he done since becoming President?” He also claimed that only members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) seem satisfied with the administration. In addition, he reminded Nigerians of Tinubu’s promise to improve electricity and deliver steady power before the end of his first term.
The cleric also raised concerns about poor infrastructure and insecurity. He pointed to the delayed Onitsha–Enugu Road project and alleged that parts of the Second Niger Bridge still lack proper lighting. According to him, these problems continue to discourage investors and slow national development. He added that any serious government must improve roads, strengthen security, and provide better welfare for police officers.
Meanwhile, Odumeje’s comments have triggered mixed reactions on social media. Some Nigerians agreed with his views and called for better governance. Others defended the Tinubu administration, arguing that major reforms take time to produce results. As discussions continue, the debate over the President’s performance remains a major talking point across the country.
