Ye and ex-assistant finally settle court battle
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has officially settled a sexual misconduct lawsuit filed by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.
Court documents filed in Los Angeles confirmed both sides reached an unconditional settlement. However, the agreement’s terms remain private.
The settlement ends a legal fight that began in 2024. At first, Pisciotta sued for wrongful termination and sexual harassment. Later, she added more serious claims, including sexual assault, sex trafficking and sexual battery.
Her lawyer, Arick Fudali, confirmed the case was over, saying,
“The matter has been resolved.”
Shocking claims against the rapper
Pisciotta worked for Ye between 2021 and 2023. She claimed he promised to boost her career in music and fashion. According to her lawsuit, those promises came with unwanted sexual demands.She also accused Ye of groping her, forcing himself on her and trapping her in a private jet room while he masturbated.
Another major allegation involved a studio party in Santa Monica. Pisciotta claimed she was drugged after drinking a beverage there. She said she later discovered Ye allegedly assaulted her. The lawsuit did not accuse Sean “Diddy” Combs of any wrongdoing.
In addition, she claimed Ye failed to pay her a promised $4 million salary. She also accused him of trying to make her financially dependent by asking her to close her OnlyFans account.
Ye denied every allegation
Ye strongly denied all the claims from the beginning. His representatives called the lawsuit “baseless” and accused Pisciotta of trying to blackmail and extort him.
His legal team also argued she lost her job because she was unqualified. They claimed she made expensive demands, including luxury gifts and cosmetic surgery.
Settlement closes the case
The settlement ends the civil lawsuit without any admission of wrongdoing by Ye.
Meanwhile, the rapper still faces other legal battles from former employees. Those cases involve claims ranging from unpaid wages to hostile work environments.
For now, this high-profile case has officially come to an end.
