The Seattle Seahawks drafted Easley fourth overall in 1981. He quickly became “The Enforcer” for his fierce hits. Over seven seasons, he recorded 32 interceptions and three touchdowns. Easley won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1981. Then he claimed Defensive Player of the Year in 1984. Furthermore he made five Pro Bowls.
