Another alleged relative of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has made fresh claims about the circumstances surrounding his death and burial. Clinton Ekubo shared the allegations in a Facebook post on Friday, June 26.
He accused the actor’s stepmother of excluding key family members from the burial plans. According to him, Alexx’s biological mother and sister were left out of important decisions.
Clinton also questioned what he saw during the burial. He claimed he noticed a blood clot in the actor’s eyes and asked if it was linked to cancer. “I think I was the only family member that saw his corpse and stood my ground to supervise what was going on,” he wrote.
He further alleged that the burial was rushed, adding, “The burial arrangement was rushed as if there was something somebody is trying to cover for us.”
The alleged relative also made claims about Alexx’s marriage. According to him, the actor’s stepmother arranged the marriage without informing the Ekubo family. “We were shocked when we heard that Alex was married,” he said. Clinton also claimed Alexx became distant from his biological mother and sister while growing closer to his stepmother’s family.
Meanwhile, the allegations have sparked mixed reactions online. While some people demanded answers from the family, others urged everyone to allow the late actor rest in peace. Notably, these claims remain unverified, and no official response has been made by Alexx Ekubo’s family regarding the allegations.
