Manchester United Agree £50m Deal to Sign Andrey Santos From Chelsea

Manchester United have agreed a £50 million deal with Chelsea for highly rated midfielder Andrey Santos, according to details revealed by Sky Sports News. The deal includes a guaranteed payment of £48 million, with an additional £2 million in performance-related add-ons. Chelsea have also secured a 10% sell-on clause as part of the agreement.

Santos is now preparing to undergo a medical before completing the move to Old Trafford. If the transfer is finalised, the 21-year-old will become Manchester United’s first signing of the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian midfielder has been widely regarded as one of the country’s bright young talents. Known for his composure in possession, defensive awareness and ability to contribute in attack, Santos has attracted interest from several top European clubs in recent transfer windows.

Manchester United’s move signals the club’s continued effort to strengthen its midfield ahead of the new season. The signing is expected to add energy, creativity and depth to Michael Carrick’s squad as the Red Devils prepare for domestic and European competitions.

Chelsea, meanwhile, continue reshaping their squad as they balance incoming and outgoing transfers during the summer window.

An official announcement is expected after Santos completes his medical and final paperwork, bringing the deal a step closer to completion.
