Anambra State Police have arrested a 36-year-old content creator identified as Anulika Onyeanusia over an alleged case of child pornography on social media. This followed widespread public outrage after disturbing videos circulated online earlier this week.
A video allegedly showing a woman using sex toys on a minor went viral, prompting a wave of social media users to call for the suspect’s immediate arrest. Multiple video clips of Nigerians demanding action trended across platforms on Thursday before police confirmed the arrest that same night.
In a statement issued by Anambra State Police PRO, the command confirmed that Onyeanusia is in custody following an operation in Onitsha.

During the operation, four children were rescued from the suspect. They are aged two, three, six, and nine years old. Several sex toys and other items relevant to the investigation were also recovered at the scene.
The suspect is accused of using different children in explicit content during private livestreams.
“The Command intensifies its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and the possible involvement of other persons,” Ikenga said in the statement.
The investigation remains active. Police are pursuing whether other individuals were involved in producing or distributing the content.
