Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington and her husband, singer Banky W, have celebrated their son, Hezekiah, as he turns two. The celebrity couple shared a heartwarming birthday message on Instagram on Sunday. They described their little boy as a confident, independent child who fills their home with love and laughter.
In their playful message, the couple joked that their son already had “two decades of opinions and zero interest in negotiations”. They described him as a strong-willed dancing king and called him “Mr. No Gree For Anybody” and “Mr. Carry Youuu!” The proud parents also noted how his bold personality continues to surprise and amuse them.
Beyond the jokes, Banky W and Adesua shared their prayers for their growing son. They expressed hope that his determination would develop into strength of character, guided by their Christian faith. They also prayed that he would retain the courage to stand his ground while learning when to yield. According to the couple, his confidence and strong will should grow alongside wisdom and understanding.
Reflecting on his growth, the couple said it felt like yesterday when Hezekiah was born. However, they joked that he seemed to have been running their household for years. They thanked God for the privilege of raising him and encouraged him to keep dancing, shining and becoming the person he was created to be.
Banky W and Adesua got married in 2017 and have two sons. Their first son, Hazaiah Olusegun Champ Wellington, was born in January 2021.
