Caramel Plugg has sparked reactions after sharing her views on grand romantic gestures. The influencer discussed the topic during a recent episode of Drink or Spill.
During the conversation, she addressed the idea of a partner upgrading her flight without notice. Caramel said business class would not impress her much. She explained that she already buys business-class tickets for herself.
“I already do that on my own,” she said.
For this reason, she could see the gesture as the “bare minimum.”
The conversation then moved to a more dramatic birthday surprise. The interviewer asked how she would feel if her partner booked an entire restaurant. The plan would allow her to celebrate privately with friends and family. Caramel first wanted to know what restaurant was involved.
“He books out the entire restaurant?” she asked.
She then joked that the restaurant itself mattered.
“It depends on the restaurant, girl,” she said.
She even used a “Mama Put” as an example.
Still, Caramel admitted that booking an entire restaurant is a special gesture. She said the effort behind such a surprise should be appreciated. However, she also believes it can be a normal thing in some relationships.
“I think it’s just special. I also think it’s a normal thing to do most times,” she explained.
