Chiomie Withdraws Rape Allegation Against Footballer Victor Ebele

A lady identified as Chiomie has withdrawn the rape allegation she previously made against Nigerian footballer Victor Ebele Jr. She made the fresh statement in a video shared on social media

Recall that Chiomie accused the footballer of rape in August 2025. However, she has now admitted that the allegation was false. She also expressed regret over the controversy that followed her claim.

In the video, Chiomie said her emotions influenced her actions at the time. She also admitted dragging Ebele’s brother, Frank Chiboy Ebele, and other family members into the matter.

“He never raped me, guys,” she said.

She further described her actions as wrong and apologised to the family.

Meanwhile, Chiomie urged the public to stop associating Victor Ebele with the rape allegation.

“I hope that you guys don’t take it up against him because Victor is not a rapist,” she stated.

She also appealed to blogs that published the original allegation to remove their reports.

Specifically, she called on Instablog9ja to delete its previous post about the matter. According to her, the platform had shared the allegation from her page. She also asked other blogs and social media users to take down related posts. Chiomie said the controversy had affected Ebele and his family in their personal lives and workplaces.

Finally, she offered a public apology to the footballer and his relatives. She admitted taking matters into her own hands instead of using the right channels.

“What I did was wrong and I didn’t take the right precautions,” she said.

Chiomie ended her message by expressing deep regret over the situation.
