Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have once again set social media buzzing. The celebrity couple recently stepped out wearing matching diamond rings during their luxury holiday in Majorca. Their appearance has now sparked fresh rumours that wedding bells could ring very soon.
Photos showed Ronaldo and Georgina boarding a luxury yacht with sparkling diamond rings on their ring fingers. Soon after, several Portuguese media outlets claimed the couple could marry this weekend.
Reports allegedly suggested the ceremony would happen on Saturday at the famous Quinta da Regaleira estate in Sintra, Portugal. However, neither Ronaldo nor Georgina has confirmed the reports. The venue is also expected to remain open to the public, making the rumours even more uncertain.
Interestingly, this is not the first time fans have linked the couple to marriage. Ronaldo proposed to Georgina last year, and she later shared a photo of her engagement ring on social media with the caption, “I do.” The football icon has also spoken openly about his wedding plans. After the 2026 FIFA World Cup, he told Piers Morgan,
“I hope to arrive at my wedding with the champion’s trophy.”
Ronaldo also described Georgina as the only woman he wants to spend his life with.
“I’m going to marry her because I believe it’s the right time. Not just because she’s the mother of my children, but because she’s the person I love most,” he said.
The love story between Ronaldo and Georgina began in 2016 when she worked at a Gucci store in Madrid. Since then, they have built a beautiful family together. Ronaldo once revealed that Georgina doubted his proposal at first.
“She didn’t care about the ring. She asked me if I was speaking the truth. She said, ‘Are you honest?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I’m honest. I want you. I want to marry you.’ She didn’t believe me at first.”
