Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, popularly known as Madrina, has reopened her long-running dispute with former label boss Jude Okoye. The singer accused him of dishonesty and described herself as “a living witness of his wickedness.”
Morgan shared her concerns on social media, claiming that Okoye has continued to speak about her behind her back. She also alleged that he has avoided meeting with her despite several attempts to have a direct conversation.
“All you have done since 2016 is talk behind my back. All efforts to see you in person have been to no avail,” she wrote.
The singer also revisited earlier claims linked to her time with Northside Entertainment. She alleged that she was denied earnings connected to her work while signed to the label. Morgan added that everyone involved in the matter would eventually face the outcome of their actions.
“But you see, I know I had to reap my own destruction for sowing in flesh. You too will reap yours for being an instrument and for holding back such earnings through dishonesty. As we all know God cannot be mocked,” she stated.
The disagreement between Cynthia Morgan and Jude Okoye became a major entertainment topic in 2020. At the time, Morgan claimed she lost control of her stage name, royalties and some digital assets after leaving the label.
However, the issue has remained unresolved despite several public discussions from both sides. The latest accusation has once again brought attention to the former business relationship between the singer and the entertainment executive.
As of the time of this report, Jude Okoye has not released a public response to Cynthia Morgan’s latest claims.
