Afrobeats superstar Davido has added another luxury car to his impressive garage. The singer recently acquired a brand-new Mercedes GLS 600 Maybach.
Auto company Mr Jay Autos announced the purchase in a social media post. Davido later confirmed the news by resharing the post on his own social media pages.
The latest addition comes as no surprise to fans who follow the singer’s lavish lifestyle. During a livestream with Davrel, Davido revealed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 monthly. He noted that the figure excludes expenses for his wife, children, and personal purchases. According to him, his spending depends on his location. He also spends less when he stays in the US with his family.
Meanwhile, Davido has continued to expand his collection of expensive cars and luxury items. In May, he showed fans his impressive garage, featuring a Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, and Mercedes-Maybach S680 Monogram. Earlier this year, reports said he acquired a Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 worth $224,900. Last year, he also bought a customised Lamborghini Revuelto valued at about $600,000.
Beyond cars, the singer has made several other high-value purchases. He took delivery of a Tesla Cybertruck and gifted his aide, Lati, a Range Rover Vogue LWB. Davido also unveiled a customised pendant named after his album, 5ive. His jeweller, Benny Da Jeweller, described it as the world’s biggest pendant.
In 2024, Davido also splashed millions on new properties and received a Richard Mille wristwatch as a birthday gift. He later made headlines over his Bombardier 7500 private jet, reportedly worth between $68 million and $78 million.
With the new Mercedes GLS 600 Maybach now joining the fleet, Davido’s luxury lifestyle continues to turn heads.
