The Afrobeats star did not stay silent after MC Oluomo challenged the governor’s decision to suspend the union’s activities across Osun State. The drama started after Governor Adeleke suspended NURTW operations at motor parks across the state. He also stopped the collection of transport levies and ordered security agencies to arrest anyone operating in the union’s name. According to the state government, the move followed violent clashes between rival transport union factions. The government said the decision was necessary to restore peace and protect residents.
However, MC Oluomo disagreed with the governor’s action. He insisted that no state governor has the power to suspend the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers.
