Davido reveals why his twins are still in the US and says they will move to his new Ede mansion in Osun State after completion.
Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has explained why his twin children are still living in the United States. The singer said they will move to Nigeria after his new mansion in Ede, Osun State, is completed.
Davido shared the update during a livestream with Davrel. He said he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, are preparing to welcome the twins into their new home. According to him, the children will return to Nigeria once everything is ready.
“Of course. They will go to Ede in Osun State. Definitely. My problem is just that I want the house to finish first. Once the house is done, they can come to their palace and live like king and queen,” Davido said.
The singer also revealed that he and Chioma recently bought a bigger house. He said the family will move into the new property soon. Davido explained that the decision came from his desire to give his children the same comfort he enjoyed while growing up.
“I just want to do my kids like my daddy did for us. My daddy made us comfortable,” he added.
Davido also spoke about how his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, treats his grandchildren. He revealed that they enjoy a level of luxury whenever they travel with their grandfather.
“His grandchildren have never entered commercial flight. On grandpa’s watch, you see? Except maybe their mama carry them on commercial flights. But when they are with family, when they are with grandpa, they fly private jet,” he said.
The singer’s plan to raise his children in Ede shows his strong connection to his family roots. It also reflects his desire to build a lasting legacy for the next generation.
