Nigerian music star Davido has shared more details about his strong bond with his wife, Chioma Adeleke. The singer described her as his “life coordinator” because she helps manage his finances and daily plans.
In a viral video, Davido called Chioma while he was stranded and asked her to send $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati. He explained that he could not access his account at the moment. During the phone call, Davido said,
“Hello, hello baby, good morning my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t login, I don’t know why, is the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija, I love you.”
After the call, Davido’s official streamer asked if Chioma was now managing his money. The singer quickly replied,
“Of course, you know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that.”
The Afrobeats star also opened up about how much he depends on Chioma in his everyday life. In a car interview, Davido revealed that he speaks with her several times daily.
According to him, he calls her before flights, after landing, and even after meals. He added that she is the first person he contacts whenever he sees something funny online. Davido also expressed that life without his wife, Chioma was something he couldn’t fathom or picture in his mind.
“I wan die? You dey mad? I can’t live without her,” he said.
Davido said he misses having Chioma around all the time. He also shared a relationship advice with fans, saying,
“Marry your best friend.”
