Nigerian actor and content creator Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has opened up about a difficult period in his life. He also thanked people who supported him when things became tough.
In a post on X, Mr Macaroni said he cried after reading messages from people he had helped. Many of the stories surprised him because he could not remember some of them. According to him, the moment made him reflect on his life. He realised he had focused too much on his losses instead of his blessings.
“I think this is God’s way of telling me to also be thankful!!!” he wrote.
Mr Macaroni said he was used to giving and rarely asked for help. However, he eventually reached out when he needed support. He revealed that one person repeatedly helped him clear his debts.
“God used one person to settle all that I owed!” he said.
The content creator also thanked his close friends and fans for standing by him. He described them as “Mr Macaroni & Friends” and said they helped save him. He also praised music executive Don Jazzy for supporting him since his university days.
“I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do,” he wrote.
Mr Macaroni also thanked Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji for their support. Mr Macaroni said he is now “in a better place” and focused on things that make him happy.
He added that he has no regrets about helping others. The experience, he said, taught him important lessons and gave him greater clarity.
He ended with a message of love, saying,
“May the love in our hearts be forever greater than the hate in the world.”
