New AI Platform Targets Music Creators
Google has partnered with Believe to expand access to AI-powered music tools. The collaboration will support artists, producers, and songwriters through the Flow Music platform.
Flow Music, previously known as ProducerAI, operates under Google Labs. It offers tools for creating lyrics, melodies, and instrumentals.
Access Extended to TuneCore Artists
Artists using TuneCore will also gain access to the platform. The tool allows users to explore different genres and experiment with creative ideas.
Google confirmed that creators will retain ownership of content generated on Flow Music.
Lyria 3 Pro Powers the Platform
The system runs on Lyria 3 Pro, Google’s advanced music generation model. It understands song structures such as intros, verses, choruses, and bridges.
The model supports various styles, including amapiano and dream pop. It can also generate rhythms and test vocals across multiple languages.
Artists to Shape Platform Development
Believe and TuneCore will select a group of artists and producers as ambassadors. These participants will meet weekly with Google’s product team.
They will provide feedback and help guide the platform’s future development.
Training Based on Licensed Content
Google stated that it trained Lyria 3 Pro using content it has the right to use. The materials come from YouTube and other agreements under its terms of service.
The company said it followed legal and partnership guidelines during the training process.
