Gospel Singer Buchi Addresses Body Shamers Over His Size

Gospel singer Buchi Atuonwu has spoken out against people who constantly comment on his body size. The singer shared a new photo on Facebook while addressing the issue.

Buchi said he understands the benefits of exercise and staying fit. However, he does not want people to shame him because of his size. According to him, his body should not be treated like a punishment for something he did before birth.

“I know the benefits of physical exercises but please stop making it look like I committed an offense in the womb and God punished me with a big body!” Buchi wrote.

The gospel singer also reminded his critics that people naturally come in different shapes and sizes. He compared body types to skin colours, noting that everyone is created differently.

“Just as He made some fair skinned and some dark, He made some small and some big. I was born big, my friend,” he added.

Meanwhile, Buchi appeared to jokingly turn his attention to his gym instructor. He said the instructor might need some caution over the pressure to work on his body.

“My gym instructor needs to be cautioned. Happy life, my people!” he concluded.

Buchi’s message has sparked conversations about body shaming and personal acceptance. His post also highlights the pressure some people face over their appearance.

While exercise has clear health benefits, Buchi’s message is simple; fitness should not become an excuse to shame people about their bodies.
