Kanye West concert in Poland cancelled days after he postponed show in France

Kanye West concert in Poland has been canceled, just days after the rapper postponed a show in France following backlash over his anti-Semitic remarks.

“We regret to inform you that the Ye (Kanye West) concert scheduled for June 19, 2026, at the Slaski Stadium will not take place due to formal and legal reasons,” announced Adam Strzyzewski, the stadium’s director, in a statement shared on Facebook.

Polish authorities had already indicated plans to block the June 19 event.

The cancellation, first reported by Wyborcza newspaper, follows the UK’s decision to ban West from entering the country, which forced him to scrap planned appearances there. Similarly, he postponed a concert in Marseille, France, after facing growing opposition from local officials.

The annual Wireless Festival, where West was set to perform, has also been canceled amid calls to permanently end the event due to its decision to overlook the rapper’s controversial history of anti-Semitic behavior.

Holocaust survivors have urged other European nations to take similar action against the artist.

While Ye has been barred from countries like Australia, he has still managed to perform in the U.S. and Mexico City earlier this year.
