“I hope your company staff can play my song at work today” – BNXN Sends Playful Open Letter to Dangote

Nigerian singer BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has sent a playful open letter to billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.

The singer shared the message shortly after dropping his latest single, “Online.” In the post, BNXN jokingly called Dangote his “ski,” adding a funny business twist to his music promotion.

BNXN also addressed the employees and shareholders of the Dangote Group. He wrote:

“I hope your company staff can play my song at work today.”

The simple message quickly caught attention online. Fans saw the post as another cheeky way to push his new song.

The timing also made the post more interesting. Nigerians have recently joked about becoming Dangote’s “business partners” following reports around the Dangote Refinery. BNXN joined the trend by treating the billionaire like a corporate colleague. As a result, his music promo came with a dose of Nigerian social media humour.

Meanwhile, “Online” adds to the excitement around BNXN’s upcoming project. The song is the second track from his planned six-track EP, “Still In Charge.” With his latest post, the singer has once again mixed music with internet culture.

Fans will now be watching to see what BNXN has planned next.
