Billionaire businessman and real estate mogul King Ochacho has revealed how he made his first ₦1 billion at just 21. The businessman shared the story during a livestream with popular skit maker Peller.
According to Ochacho, his early wealth came from the charcoal export business. He worked as an agent for a company that exported charcoal to Chinese buyers.
Recalling the experience, the billionaire Businessman said,
“I made my first 1 billion naira at age 21 years old.”
He then explained how the business helped him reach the milestone at such a young age.
“I was doing a business called coal business (charcoal),” he said.
“So I got all these Chinese people and I was an agent to a company to export the coal.”
Ochacho said his earnings from the business eventually reached ₦1 billion. After making significant money, he later ventured into politics. However, his political journey did not last forever. He eventually stepped away from politics to focus on his faith and business interests.
“Then later I joined politics then again I left politics to serve God and do my business,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the businessman also spoke about his views on leadership and politics. He said he does not see himself as someone who opposes people in power. Instead, he wants leaders to deliver good governance.
“My prayer is to pray for who is the leader to succeed,” he said.
When asked about President Bola Tinubu, Ochacho praised him based on his personal experience.
“Tinubu is one of the best politician I have seen in my life time. He is one of the greatest political of all time,” he stated.
