Bobrisky said people should learn to separate appreciation from sexual attraction. He explained that someone can admire another person’s outfit, haircut, or appearance without wanting anything romantic. He also urged people to stop assuming that every friendly conversation has a hidden agenda.
Meanwhile, Bobrisky expressed strong displeasure over the assumption that every interaction must eventually lead to sex. He described the mindset as “disgusting” and questioned why some people make sexual conclusions so quickly. Bobrisky also asked why interactions involving Nigerians often seem to get linked to sex.
“Let’s normalize harmless DMs. Just because I message you or compliment you doesn’t mean I want to sleep with you. The thought alone is disgusting,” Bobrisky wrote.
He added that people can appreciate beautiful things without attaching sexual intentions to them.
The social media personality also shared a personal reason for his view. He said receiving love from siblings helped him understand genuine appreciation. Bobrisky ended his message with a direct warning to Nigerian men.
“Take note pls, especially Nigerian men,” he stated.
