All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda has claimed that key opposition factions have aligned with President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

Yilwatda made this statement to State House correspondents after meeting with President Tinubu in Abuja.

He noted that members from the PDP, APGA, and Accord Party have joined forces with the ruling party. The ruling party chief met the President alongside Presidential Campaign Council Director-General Senator Abdulaziz Yari.

Consequently, the campaign team confirmed that preparations are complete for a nationwide campaign launch in Kaduna on Saturday.

Nationwide Campaign Mobilization and Political Alignments

Yilwatda emphasized that political groups across the country are consolidating support around the current administration. However, official statements did not specify whether these movements reflect formal party endorsements or individual factional alliances.

“All political parties that previously defeated us in elections are now working with us,” Yilwatda stated during the briefing.

Furthermore, party leaders assured that state campaign committees are fully mobilized and ready for the official flag-off. APC strategists view the upcoming Kaduna rally as a vital milestone for building momentum toward the 2027 polls.

Campaign Council Pledges Focus on Performance and Policy

Speaking separately, Campaign Director-General Senator Abdulaziz Yari pledged that the APC will run a record-based campaign. He stressed that the campaign council will avoid personal attacks and focus strictly on policy achievements.

“We are going to conduct a responsible campaign anchored on verifiable records,” Yari told newsmen at the State House.

In addition, he urged Nigerian voters to assess government performance across key sectors before casting their ballots.

Finally, the campaign leadership reiterated its commitment to engaging citizens constructively as electioneering activities ramp up nationwide.
